Hospital Cleanroom HVAC Package: AHUs, FFUs and HEPA Terminals

A hospital purification project supplied with clean room AHUs, fan filter units and HEPA terminals, coordinated as one package with commissioning documentation.

01 / PROJECT BACKGROUND

A hospital purification project with strict air parameters

A contractor in Southeast Asia was building out hospital cleanrooms and buffer zones where airflow direction, pressure cascade and cleanliness class are audited after handover. The air-side package had to hold stable supply airflow, keep terminal noise low in adjacent wards, and arrive in phases matched to the construction schedule.

02 / REQUIREMENTS

Cleanliness class, pressure cascade and phased delivery

The brief called for clean room air handling units with multi-stage filtration, fan filter units for local clean zones, HEPA terminal diffusers for supply points, and sealed low-leakage ductwork. Filtration had to reach the specified class, casings had to meet a low leakage class, and delivery had to follow a zone-by-zone handover plan rather than a single drop.

03 / SOLUTION

One coordinated air-side package from a single factory

JINLONGSEN selected clean room AHUs with the required filtration stages, paired them with FFUs and HEPA terminal filter diffusers, and matched sealed galvanized ductwork and silencers for the quiet zones. Selections were reviewed against the room schedule and pressure diagram, casing leakage and thermal-break construction were confirmed, and production was phased so each zone received its equipment ahead of its handover date.

04 / RESULT

Parameters held, documentation ready for commissioning

The full air-side package arrived from one supplier with one responsibility line. Commissioning and audit documentation was prepared with the order, filtration and pressure requirements were met per zone, and the contractor avoided cross-category specification drift by sourcing AHUs, FFUs, terminals and ducts together.
